TDAF uses a key stakeholder consensus approach to help countries develop a customised Trade Facilitation Implementation Road Map, building on their existing strengths and focused on the development aspirations of the country. We analyse requirements for implementation of specific measures and assist in the development of project proposals to donors for technical assistance where required.
TDAF also assists in the establishment, structure, training and operation of national and regional trade facilitation support structures, such as the National Trade Facilitation Committees under the WT TF Agreement. We have a special expertise in building consensus amongst key stakeholders for realising the dynamic opportunities available under the Agreement.
